Healthcare Information Services

NEQCA’s Healthcare Information Services (HIS) program is a strategic initiative designed to deliver high value care and provide a clinically-integrated platform that measures quality and performance.

To promote effective communications and engagement with patients, each EHR allows patients access to their health information from the internet through a secure Patient Portal. The Portal offers significant benefits for physicians and their patients. For physicians and their practices, the NEQCA Patient Portal provides the ability to securely communicate with their patients.

*Meaningful Use Specialized Registry Reporting

Reporting to specialized registries is an integral part of improving population health. The NEQCA Athena Clarity Registry is a specialized registry for the collection of data for member physicians.

Successful enrollment and electronic submission of data to the Athena Clarity Registry for the purpose of satisfying the Meaningful Use Public Health Reporting measure (Specialized Registry Reporting) is contingent upon submission of data directly from Certified EHR Technology (CEHRT) to the registry. Providers who would like to achieve the Meaningful Use Public Health Reporting measure (Specialized Registry Reporting) will need to register and submit electronic data from the CEHRT directly to the Athena Clarity Registry.

Providers interested in submitting electronic data to the Athena Clarity Registry should email SpecializedRegistry@neqca.org
